Totally repaired my old soldering iron tip – Much better than several other tinners, Way better than Oatey #95 which did not work at all., Heated Iron, touched tinner material which melted in a few seconds, tip was shiny and corrosion was soft, scrapped a little more with a utility knife, tinned again. Wow Totally perfect!! Thanks

tip tinner – Does exactly what it is supposed to do – tins your soldering iron tip as needed. This is the first time I bought a commercial tip tinner vs old multiple step clean flux solder flux clean again method. Much easier to use.

Get this stuff if you’re having issues soldering. – If you’re having issues getting solder to melt quickly or stick to your iron, you need this stuff. It will instantly turn a tip from ‘dull and dirty’ to ‘hot and melty.’ (Is that a thing?)
