Beautiful light but remote isn’t great – Let me start by saying I love the lamp and all it’s different features. The assembly was a little harder than I thought it would be. The directions were not 100% clear. The lamp itself is great but the remote is not. It doesn’t always work. I will download the app this week and see if that is any better. If the remote worked consistently I would have given it a 5 star.

Good purchase – Every once in a while, you find a really good item on Amazon. This is one of those items. The pictures are not misleading and the size seems accurate. It was fairly easy to assemble. I bought two of them for my small room and it’s bright enough. Lots of options for warmth and brightness as well.

This is a lamp, not a full room light! – As a lamp (as opposed to full room lighting, it isn’t bright enough for that), it is absolutely fantastic! I bought it on sale for about $60 after tax, and I couldn’t be happier. The shade is super wrinkly, but it looks intentional when it’s stretched out, and helps mask the frankly odd pseudo-fabric. It feels very waxy/plastic-y, and can not be washed (and probably should not be steamed, and DEFINITELY should NOT be ironed!). I wipe down the outside with a clean microfiber cloth, the inside I can reach most of easily with a microfiber dusting wand. Assembly was pretty simple, though stretching the top into place would have been easier with a second or taller person (I’m 5’3, I managed it on my own by holding it at an angle so I could see what I was doing, but having someone at the base to stabilize it at that angle would have made it much easier), and I did have a minor issue with one of the rods not slotting all the way into another, but it was far enough in that it was still stable and did not affect the rest of assembly, and is hidden by the shade. It took me a while to find the right method of syncing to wifi. The manual does say, but in an awkward spot which you may accidentally skip over since it’s before the actual setup info. I didn’t realize it came with a remote, but it has been great for my daily needs, since I mostly use it for different tones of white light depending on time of day, easily done via the remote without having to navigate through the app.
