      Great ambience. – I love having these candles on during the long dark nights of Winter. They bring a lovely ambience to my living room and I like to put them on candlelight setting so you get the realistic flickering of candles without the safety issues. The timer is great too so if I doze off they’ll shut off when the time is done.

      nice glow, do not leave outside – I originally got these for my back patio because I did not want to have open flame there, but I quickly realized that you cannot leave these outside overnight. They immediately melted in the hot sun and the ones that did not melt got pretty gross with the rain. That being said, they are really nice candles with a nice soft glow that isn’t too bright or too dim. It seems like the batteries last a long time and the remote works okay, you just have to be pretty close to the candle to use it. The timer function seems to work well too. I ended up buying a second order because I like them so much even though my first order didn’t survive. I’ll be sure to take them inside from now on.
