Hands down my favorite finish! – I have been using Walrus Oil products for the past year and am absolutely in love with it. I am using the Furniture Butter from walrus oil in combination with the wood wax, and I love the outcome every time. I used it on oak, walnut, hackberry, maple, and more and loved it every time! Thank you, Walrus oil, for a great product lineup!

This is a very average product. – I originally got it because of the reviews; however it seems pretty average. The before and after differences are minute, so technically it made a difference, but there was no “Wow” factor. It just reminds me of shoe polish, except for wood, and like shoe polish, it takes multiple layers and sessions to really begin to see some results. The real downside, however, is that by the time I was done adding multiple layers, I found myself constantly thinking about how much work was required to get the finish I wanted, and as a result I became very protective and paranoid over all of the wooden things I polished. I found myself babying everything rather than using and enjoying them. I think (actually I know) there are some butcher block conditioners out there that I would recommend over this product because they’re much easier to use and do have that “Wow” factor, which this product seems to lack.
