Bad instructions – Once I figured it out by myself, it works great. My instructions did not say that I had to install the battery but when the transmitter did nothing when I tried to match it, I tried to open it up and see if there was a battery inside. I tried and tried to open it without breaking it but I wasn’t even sure I was doing the right thing. Finally, I found a review that showed how it looked open and another one that said it took two men to figure it out so I didn’t feel too stupid. The instructions should say 1. Install battery and tell you how to open the transmitter 2. Plug unit into wall socket and press transmitter to match. 3. Attach transmitter to wall. The bell is really loud and the next lowest is pretty soft. I’ll play with different tunes to see if I can find the best for me.

The amount of ringers is incredible – Seriously decent price and good material, was just surprised by how many ring sounds it had. My little sister got to choose and she wanted the little mermaid sounding one. Seriously best purchase cause now we can actually hear when we have visitors. We live in a mobile home so most of the time they knock on our walls outside and we can sometimes hear the metal sound but it’s not very loud, now we have this and it’s perfect for us.
