Great – Would recommend you leaving a little extra when you first put them in. Just in case you have to readjust them a day or two after you put them in.

Cut only when you’re sure! – I like the Xpand No Tie laces because, for more classic sneaker styles, they offer a look that is closer to standard white laces.

Quality – Works great so far! Confusing on right length i should have bought. I think mine are too long? I’ve just been tieing like usual since they’re too long.

Mostly work well – Kind of a pain to “install,” but manageable. They work great and are exactly what I wanted – except they’ve gotten pretty dirty, and what do I do about that? Definitely not convenient to try and remove them to wash, if that’s even an option.

Love these! – 7 months pregnant and tying my shoelaces was getting tedious. Put these on my “cute” trainers as well as my gym shoes. I can slip both pairs on super easily now and don’t even need to bend over to do so, just step and wiggle. They also look cleaner than standard laces in my opinion. Will probably switch over my hi-top Vans too.

Exactly as advertised – The no tie laces are basically elastic eith special tabs to keep them in place. I bought the white for my son’s white high top canvas tennis shoes. He lobes them. Je was dancing and jumping around the house to test how well the shoe stays on with the elastic laces. He said they were great and the shoes stayed on his feet very well. He threw away the old laces.

Works nicely – The shoelaces installed relatively easily, like regular shoelaces. I made the mistake of installing them, then putting on my shoes. The laces were tight. Here’s a tip: have the shies on you feet as you lace them up. It may be a bit awkward but you can adjust the tightness for comfort. I didn’t care for the p art of heating the cut ends to seal them but it prevents fraying. If you heat them too much the end may melt I. Such a way as to prevent the end from being snapped into place.

Nice Idea Overall; Just Don’t Tighten Too Much – I really dislike shoes, especially having to tie them. Sometimes I wish I was a Hobbit. I’ve bought shoes with Velcro straps, but the Velcro seems to lose its grip over time. So when I heard of these elastic laces, I thought I’d found the solution. Negotiating the tie clips was a bit of a chore, and I opted for the end clips for aesthetic purposes. They tuck in pretty easily. Once installed, the shoes fit on snugly… a bit too snugly, in fact. I probably should have not cinched the laces in so much, or left the top pair of eyelets open, because sometimes it feels like I’m cutting the blood off in my feet. The most challenging part on my New Balance shoes is getting my feet in without pushing the tongue back in; I have to grasp the tongue firmly AND use a shoe horn behind my heel at the same time, which is tricky. I’m hoping the laces will loosen a bit over time with wear. If not, I’ll just replace these with another set, and not install them so tightly, because I really like the idea of converting my New Balances (as well as my bicycle shoes) into slip ons.
