The soldering iron can stay at the set temperature consistently with its PID temperature stabilization. Space Saving – This compact soldering station helps save precious work space with an integrated soldering iron holder to provider greater space saving. Great Iron for the Hobbyist – I’ll start off by saying this is the second one I bought. If you never owned any soldering equipment before, this little package comes with everything you need to get started. The iron itself is great for home or workshop use. I’ve soldered many wires and components for my side business and the iron never let me down.

Good product – So far it is alright not to bad for the price. The only thing is the part that holds the solder iron broke. It’s plastic but if you have super glue you’ll be alright. Besides that is quick at warming up. I’ve only used two tips but both have been good. Overall not bad

Tape the sides of the solder sucker. You’ve been warned. – I am new to soldering. Tried this station out for the first time today. I cut my left thumb thinking it was the PCB I was working on. Took a break and came back and after a couple minutes I noticed after a few uses, that the Solder sucker what is the culprit that was cutting -now- both of my thumbs…. The way it is machined leaves super sharp edges down the sides. If your thumb is tilted either direction while you press down on the plunger, the side of the plunger walls will cut your thumb multiple times if you’re not paying attention. My solution was to put electrical tape down each side and that seems to have stopped the massacre that is now on my desk. The rest of the station and accessories are all perfectly fine and work really well. But I will now have to use speech to text over the weekend so that my thumbs can heal. Thank you YIHUA.

Fantastic Soldering Station – I wasn’t expecting much for the low price ($40 at the time of this writing), but was pleasantly surprised and have been very happy with it ! The tips are easy to change, but for price, you could almost justify buying a second one to have a large tip installed on one setup and and a fine SMD tip on the other (which is what I have setup here). Anyway, just buy it, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Tape the sides of the solder sucker. You’ve been warned. – I am new to soldering. Tried this station out for the first time today. I cut my left thumb thinking it was the PCB I was working on. Took a break and came back and after a couple minutes I noticed after a few uses, that the Solder sucker what is the culprit that was cutting -now- both of my thumbs…. The way it is machined leaves super sharp edges down the sides. If your thumb is tilted either direction while you press down on the plunger, the side of the plunger walls will cut your thumb multiple times if you’re not paying attention. My solution was to put electrical tape down each side and that seems to have stopped the massacre that is now on my desk. The rest of the station and accessories are all perfectly fine and work really well. But I will now have to use speech to text over the weekend so that my thumbs can heal. Thank you YIHUA.
