Great for grandparents, but would not want them as a parent – These locks are just fine – for casual use. We engage them once a week as needed for babysitting. However, it would be a real pain to have as a parent with them engaged all the time. Two reasons for that. The first is needing to grab the magnet to open the latches every time you need to get into a cabinet or a drawer. The second is that it generally takes two hands – one to move the magnet so it unlatches and the other hand to pull on the knob or handle. Certainly not something you can easily do with an item in the other hand. We do like them, and they work great, and installation (watch the video first) was pretty straightforward. But you likely will have to make some adjustments based on how your cabinet doors and drawers fit.

Easy installation – With a kiddo into everything, these locks are great. They are small and fit easily on all our cabinets. I wish they included more “keys” in the set as we almost had a crisis when we lost ours for a moment, and none of our other magnets were strong enough to unlock the cabinets!

EASY!!!! WORKS!!!! – So I’ve installed baby proofing items before and we had to baby proof as our granddaughter is starting to walk. This was the quickest and easiest install ever!!! I highly recommend this product. Installed one backwards (my fault) and the double sided tape came off and was still strong enough to put back on. Let baby loose and they worked great too!!!

More uses than just a child lock! – Incredibly engineered and designed product. The mounting cradle makes things work every time. Not just a child proof lock. We searched for a way to latch the cabinets in our 36’ class A motor home, a way that would not mar the appearance of the overhead cabinets. This product worked perfectly! Admittedly, we initially installed with the adhesive and then followed up with the included screws. Now we can lock the cabinets for travel and once there, can easily switch off the lock. Perfect for this off-list application!

Perfect solution! – These worked perfect for baby proofing our kitchen and bathroom. I at first thought that magnetic latches were overkill, but it’s easier/better than the other types of latches. They’ve been installed for a while now and have passed the test of my 14 month old tugging on the doors. The adhesive patches are great and I like that they came with screw option if that’s needed in the future. The pack I received came with two magnet pucks to unlock – so we keep one on the fridge and one on the bathroom counter. These are better than the push-release latches in that they don’t allow the cabinet doors to jiggle/open as much and then my toddler becomes uninterested. Can’t speak to the ease of removing the adhesive, but I’m not concerned about that since these will be on for at least several more years. I also like the function to disable the lock – useful for when we’re cooking in the kitchen without constantly having to grab the magnet puck. Install was easy with the included template/guide – did the whole kitchen in less than 15 minutes.

Best option we have found – We are very impressed by these cabinet/drawer locks. I installed the first one incorrectly but was able to easily pull off the cabinet and reinstall. Once you get the first one, the rest are very easy. I was able to install all 20 of them in about 30 minutes or so without paying too much attention.

Great product but need a better video! – Ordered this to keep our very busy baby out of dangerous kitchen cabinets and drawers. My Hus was getting extremely frustrated with the install as the instructional video FLYS through the install. I was convinced he was exaggerating so I watched it myself and he wasn’t kidding. They go through it WAY too quickly. Make a new video with a step-by-step instruction that can be paused after each step. Other than the video, the product itself is great.
