They dont glow – Im really unsatisfied with these stars. Ive bought glow in the dark stars before from different manufacturers, and the ones i have on my ceiling now are GREAT. they glow VERY bright and for a long time. i expected similar quality in this purchase of stars, but they just dont glow very bright. I have a UV flashlight i use to activate all my glow in the dark items, and it works almost instantly when the light comes into contact with the object. With these stars, i would have to hold the flashlight to them for over 10 minutes to achieve a comparable brightness, which i have tried. If you dont have a UV flashlight or a bunch of extra time every night to activate your stars, dont buy this. They arent worth the money, unless youre looking for cheap stars that dont glow, or a way to waste a good solid hour of your time every night.

Bright glowing stars – This was a gift to my grandson for his new bedroom. When arrived it was in a plastic bag and the box was crushed at some point during shipping, but the stars are in a plastic bag inside the box luckily, so not a complete disaster. Luckily, it was just to put in his room and I didn’t have to worry about the packaging being bad. The stars are easy to apply, we had fun placing them and deciding where to place them. We did use different adhesive putty than what came original with them, so I can’t give an honest review on the durability of the adhesive. We still have to finish applying them all, but overall I’m pleased with the brightness of them, my grandson loves watching his sky at night and trying to find his “hidden galaxies” as he’s going to bed.

The ceiling stars are a good size, with 300 stars, and they are easy to stick on with the putty included in the box. It took a little time and patience, but it was well worth it. There’s even a helpful guide with simple drawings of zodiac sign constellations, so you can arrange your glow stars in the shape of Aquarius or Pisces, etc. I loved the bonus crescent moon and earth, too! Now when the lights turn off at bedtime, my little ones can gaze up at the night sky as they ease off into dreamland (hopefully) – and we have fun talking about the moon and stars together. I am ordering a second set of these glow in the dark stars for my guest bathroom just for fun! I think they would make a great gift, too, for a child’s birthday party or baby shower.
