      Good corner clamps for small DIY projects – The clamp holds the joint nice and snug, and it does a good job of holding the materials flush on the bottom side. Using this I was able to make good 90° corners.

      Good for gluing up boxes – I use these clamps to help hold panels in place while I glue them up. They make that job pretty simple.

      Seem decent but not made for heavy duty work – These clamps are great little “extra hands”. Good to hold things in place. The only reason they get four stars is because they feel a little light weight for serious shop use. Time will tell but they feel more like holders rather than true clamps.

      very difficult to use on 3/4″ members – This is the second set of plastic clamps I bought (the other being Wetols) and neither have been acceptable. You really have to squeeze these ones hard to open up the jaws. I’m a pretty strong guy, and couldn’t get them to fit on 3/4″ ply without a lot of difficulty…and then once I got them on, found the members weren’t aligned, so I’d have to try again. I wish I had just gone with good Kreg corner clamps or similar, even though they are more money.
