With the 4 corner clips, snap-lock lid, and rubber gaskets, this outdoor extension cord cover box is IP44 waterproof. Perfect to seal 14/16/18 gauge cord, braided cable and flat wire.
Made with heavy-duty reinforced PP material to withstand rain, snow, water, dust, dirt and more, continuously protecting outdoor connections from electrical hazard.
Easy to use, place the connection into the safety seal enclosure and clip the cord with the clamps. To hang the cover, use the included cable ties and insert them to the side mounting holes.

Small – They work great but are truly small. Can barely fit extension cords with a grounded end inside them. Have to really squeeze and even press on the container to get completely closed so the snaps work. Meant more for two prong cords.

Does the job for Christmas lights but… – These extension cord holders work for me as I’m using them to hold my Christmas lights in for a little over a month. The installation of the cords wasn’t easy. The design was poorly constructed. It was difficult to get regular extension cords in. The 4 prongs on each end are useless & I see no purpose in them. They didn’t shut easily. I’m putting these under thick ivy brush. I foresee them keeping the snow out. •••I’d say if you want to use these for under under water purpose they will not keep the water out. There is no tightness to do such. I feel these are overpriced for the description stated. My personal use I hope will keep the snow out. As far as “weatherproof” that is far fetched. A heads up on that. I don’t recommend them if you plan on using them for under the water. There’s no way these will work.

Weatherproof – These were larger than expected, and are simple in design with a large latch in the middle and 4 smaller latches at each corner. My extension cord barley fit in the cover since the cord is thick. I had to press down hard. Would have been easier of the seals were more of a rubber material than plastic. I have placed two out that have not had an issue with a couple of light snowfalls so far. I will update if anything changes.

All except one defective unit had only very minimal moisture inside after about two months of use. I oriented them approximately horizontal to keep moisture from going into the end. I don’t know if that position was a requirement. There was not enough moisture to trip a ground fault protector that feed the electricity.
