The flickering flames look REAL! – Upon receipt of the items I was disappointed. They looked cheap. The big candles are/were a different color than the small ones and we had to buy batteries for the big candles. I missed that in description. I was very disappointed. Again, they looked cheap. Well, when I actually turned them on in my dim living room that night I was shocked at just how real they looked! I love them! And, I can take them outside on the patio if I want to because they can be used inside or outside. I really am pleased with my purchase.

The larger ones are great – tea lights not so much – I love the larger candles with the remote and timer. I wish I would have read the description better because the tea lights are worthless. Little Candles Do NOT work with remote – When I bought these I was really excited because I thought all of the candles worked with the remote. Unfortunately the little candles did not work with the remote and you had to manually turn them on and off. There were batteries included in the small candles, which was nice, but the flames did not move like the big ones and the color of the small ones had a yellowish tint and didn’t match the big ones. The small ones looked cheap. If all of the candles looked and worked like the big ones I would’ve kept them. The candles were made from a plastic material, which wasn’t a deal breaker, but I guess I didn’t read the description before buying to see what they were made from overall if you’re okay with the way the small ones look and work then it’d be a great purchase, but I wanted all of them to work with a remote and have a timer on them so I will unfortunately be returning. Not sure if the timer function works well because I didn’t try it but the remote worked well and the brightness of the candles were good
