These are underrated. A must have. – These strainers are absolutely perfect! Better than expected. As a responsible homeowner, I am always aware of ‘drain health’, or being conscious of what’s going into my drains. Because I am avoiding plumbing issues. Along with the additions of bidets, eliminating wasted toilet paper and clogging/plunging, elimination of any grease/oil/unnecessary solids in the drain via the garbage disposal. I would always find miscellaneous bits of trash in the disposal that would sit for a couple days then start to leave a smell in the disposal and rubber grommet in the sink. Thereby the need for cleaning with ice cubes and using disposal cleaner tabs. Not to mention the occasional bread tie, miscellaneous trash and plastic bits that would find their way into the disposal from the kids.

Couldn’t have asked for better drain covers – Our landlady had mesh drain covers in every sink, and they gunked up quickly and were a nightmare to clean. These stainless steel ones are perfect; we toss them in the dishwasher every other week. They don’t get gunked up, fit the drains perfectly and are easy to remove as needed. Holes are big enough to truly drain, but don’t let stuff get through.
