There are two universal sizes, select the right one. – There was a quirky little toilet that was decades old – an American Standard. Finding all parts but this toilet were awful. This flapper works , is made well and was easy to find on Amazon. Toilet no longer leaks. As far as other parts for older toilets online, look at the inside lid and toilet to find codes to replace parts. They say new toilets are save water, but will they new toilets last as long or match the interior? They say you can use plastic to cover old tubs and stuff but who wants to ingest plasticized resins, thalates or dioxins. It was decided we could modernize an old bathroom while keeping some of the charm of the old colors instead. Look online and make an old bathroom look new again with modern color schemes. You bought your new home. Now, save your older toilet with parts like this to spend your money on other things. Granted, toilets are only a couple hundred dollars but have you ever tried to find a new pink toilet? They never matched perfectly after weeks of research. There are bath tiles involved and many other variables creating a stubborn desire to make the existing toilet work. This product helped.
