Easy to assemble, no tools required, a bit wobbly. Light, Strong but not w/o flaws. See Review – This review will help instruct those who may have concerns about its assembly. I’ll provide tips, safety concerns, and my overall opinion of the “Guardian” model Bath Bench with Back and Arms (made by Medline). Plus advice on purchasing a bath Bench at the end of the review.

Sturdy and easy to assemble! – I broke my tibia and tore my ACL in August of this year. I had surgery for my tibia in September and will not be standing long enough to take a shower for another couple months so I needed a chair for the shower. This chair is very sturdy and I’m never worried about it collapsing. It has also provided me with some autonomy because I can now shower alone without being nervous about falling. The arm rests make it super easy to stand up on my own and grab my crutches. The chair isn’t slippery unless a ton of soap gets on the seat but once it is rinsed it goes back to not slippery at all. This chair has been a life saver when it comes to showering, I would definitely recommend it. It is a bit large so make sure it will fit in your shower with enough room for you to move around. I still have to shower with my shower door open but that’s mainly because I sit with my bad leg straight.

Nice chair – Nice chair, seat is flat, so water does pool on it so it needs to be wiped off immediately. Assembly was easy, but one screw was missing. Have contacted company and am waiting to see if they will send the screw.

Shower Safety – The chair arrived in a flat box, and it was so easy to assemble without any tools! Just follow the instructions that included diagrams for ease of use. Very lightweight yet stable and comfortable. The two arms make it easy to rise from the chair. I recommend it.

It works well in a step in shower. – I’m yet convinced of the sturdiness to give that 5 stars. But so far it has held up quite well, and I’m 6’0″ and 250 pounds. It was very easy to assemble and nicely (and easily) adjustable, which is great for me.

Perfect for our needs – What a stable little shower chair! Both my husband and I used it after surgeries. It even fit in our little shower, though it was tight for his long legs. I really like the armrests since they helped us get up when using only one leg. The backrest offers just that… a restful place for one’s back. I like the little rubber feet to prevent sliding. Height is adjustable. The seat drains well with the small holes in it. Lightweight, yet sturdy. Easy to move in and out of the shower. An inexpensive piece of important safety equipment.
