Extended our camping season – I took a chance camping at 7000 feet in mid October. I am a fair weather camper usually. We have nice sleeping bags but getting up in the morning was going to be difficult. This heater is a game changer. I only use it in the evening if we decide to stay up late in the tent playing cards, and first thing in the morning when we are getting dressed. Seconds after starting it, the tent is wonderfully warm. I paired it it with a small hanging tent fan to circulate the warm air downward. I am very careful with it because I am paranoid and the surface gets hot. You definitely don’t want to knock it over and ruin a tent wall or floor. I actually built a wooden base that holds the heater base to make the whole unit even sturdier. I feel confident that the carbon monoxide sensor will keep us safe. I foresee many more colder weather tent camping trips in my future because of this heater. One suggestion I have is that it needs space around it so it probably should be used in a larger tent. I have a six person tent for two people so there is plenty of extra room for the heater.

Perfect for my camper! – This little heater rocks! I set it up in the camper and let it go for about 20 minutes or so. I went outside and then came back in, and it was a lot warmer in there. It was 38 degrees F. We had the door cracked a bit for ventilation, and it still stayed warm! I love this little thing!

Great heater for shooting houses – I use this heater in shooting houses. It will definently keep you warm while sitting still waiting on the buck to show up. The only downside is the base (it falls off the 1lb propane tank when toting it). I just pack in in my backpack and put it together when I get to where I’m hunting.

Perfect for 3 man tent – I borrowed this from a friend to try it out camping in my 3 man tent. It got down to 24 degrees at night. This heater was perfect and made it comfy. I used it 1/2 hour before I went to sleep and turned it off. The I turned it on 1/2 hour before getting out of the sleeping bag in the morning. Nice and toastie in the tent. Of course I bought one for myself.
