This is a great monitor lamp! – I appreciate how this lamp has different settings ranging from brightness to the temperature (bright blueish to moderate yellowish light) that can be adjusted to suit your needs. It also features a useful auto memory function, it remembers the last setting you had it own when it’s powered off, no need to adjust it each time you turn it on.

I wish I had got this sooner – I bought two of these light bars and have them placed on top of my two 28″ Samsung monitors. Each light bar is 20″ long and is the ideal size for these monitors. I was worried at first that these light bars might wobble but they are working out just fine. They sit securely resting on the top of the monitor with the counterweight gently touching the monitor rear. I wanted a light bar that was not positioned too high above the monitor and this one worked out just right. I have them both sync’d to a single controller which can be used to turned them both on or off or to set them both to a particular brightness or color. Currently I have them on the automatic setting and the brightness adjusts as per the room light conditions. So nice to use the keyboard, etc. at night without having to turn on the main study lights. I was unfamiliar with this manufacturer however I was impressed with their box presentation and how well the product was securely protected for transportation. The light bars and controller are well engineered and professionally made. The light output is steady and I detected no noise during operation. I would certainly recommend this purchase.

The mount is iffy but it works; comes with a replacement buffer/spacer/adjuster to achieve a mounting. It’s not the most secure (I’d expect to find it laying on the keyboard after a 4.5 or so quake) but it works. There’s enough adjustment in the angle of the dangle such that I can have the screen slightly tilted as I prefer.

Recently, I decided to go minimal on my desk setup and swapped my desktop lamp for a light bar. Benq is all the rage but I liked the idea of the remote control and friendlier price on this light bar.
