Better then expected. – They are very small but work great at a good price. I have a guest room for family to come from time to time and didn’t want to spend a fortune. The picture I provided was as it was getting darker outside so you can see that while they are small they light up the room!

Decorative night light – My daughter got this for her room. A perfect decorative little lamp-It does not take up to much space so she has room for additional items on her dresser. The amount of light allows her to sleep with it on and does not disturb her sleep.

This lamp checks all the boxes. Due to limited desk space the lamp sits on top of a closed laptop and it’s so lightweight I’m not worried. I really like this lamp. It was so affordable too. I agree with other reviews the gold hardware isn’t the prettiest – it’s darker/more brass colored but I don’t mind. I’m happy I purchased this lamp. I don’t know why people are having difficulties with the lamp shade. They must be installing upside down. It took 30 seconds to put together.
