      Easy to use – Good for beginners

      great for light D.I.Y. – great for light D.I.Y. and crafter’s but a little sparse for full-time repair work but at this price it can’t be beat. the holder is a little tricky but just enough to not burn down your house. it gets hot quickly and comes with everything to do the job. if you plan on using it a lot i would invest in a better stand. [tip: you can use a pop-can for a better holder.]

      Cheaply made but works perfectly well – Comes with everything you need including different interchangeable tips. Yes, it is cheaply made and may not last long but for occasional soldering and considering the cost, it exceeds expectaions.

      Not your daddy’s Radio Shack iron. – Nice kit. Decent quality, sturdy but lightweight. It’s a thin pen that’s easy to hold and stays cool to the touch. Lots of tips, and excellent connector for them, tips slide over heating element. Ceramic element heats up quickly. Thermostat works well.

      Works for what I need. – I got this to put holes in some nylon webbing. With the different tip sizes, it should work great. It was also an excuse to get a soldering iron when I don’t do a lot of soldering.

      Pretty good. Except – It has 2 problems. The first is the holder for the iron is pretty bad so you would have to buy a separate solder iron holder. The second problem is the cable is very short. These 2 issues are easily fixed. Outside of that, the iron works great.
