Perfect gift idea! – Love this item! Got it as a gift for my daughter, and now I’m thinking about getting myself one! Love the speed options for the nebula and stars, and the dim and brighten ability as well. It doesn’t come with a charger box for the plug, but minor set back.

The astronaut itself is sturdy, magnetic head is easy to maneuver to any direction. Remote is a nice touch. Great purchase.

Does NOT come with power supply or batteries – I haven’t powered on the unit yet for a full review, but it does seem sturdy and looks like what I anticipated. However, it does not come with a power supply (or batteries). This is a disturbing trend for toys these days. It only comes with a USB plug. Because I do not have random USB power supplies lying around, I must now go purchase one. Nowhere in the listing does it say I need a power supply nor what power rating. If you look at the technical specs, I see it needs a 1AMP power supply. But what average buyer is going to know how to read that? They’ll likely use a cheap, underpowered power supply at 0.5A and burn the unit out. I also have to go buy AAA batteries. I know that’s also common but doesn’t make for a great gift. If you are not going to supply what makes it work, make sure it’s obvious!
