Great lighting, small footprint, Okay but a bit heavy for clip on book reading – This little clip lamp is really wonderful, high quality and very easy to use. I have it at bedside for getting up in middle of night the lowest beam, first setting on touch, is perfect to not disturb my husband’s sleep. As a clip on book lamp it’s a bit heavy if you are holding the book, would be okay on a lap book pillow and depends on whether a hardbound or paper book. Definitely fine to clip to headboard.

Very awkward to use/great customer service – Item is to heavy to fasten to a paper back book and is very awkward to try and use on a hard back. You have to attach the light to the headboard or hold it in one hand while trying to get it to shine on the pages. You must use the light on the brightest setting to be able to see and so the battery life is very short lasting only a few chapters. Better off to get a sportsman headlamp. The company(Vont) reached out to me not to change my rating but to try and make me happy. They provided me with another reading light that was perfect for me (The smaller Vont book light)and at no charge. That is what I call customer service.

The perfect craft light for an affordable price – I love this little light. I never leave reviews so that says a lot right there lol the battery life is surprisingly long, and I usually use it on the brightest setting but the lower ones work too. It is a bit touchy but I don’t mind it, and the clamp fits on just about everything. I do macrame and it’s perfect. I can clamp it to my pin board, my lap desk, my actual computer desk and it’s lightweight enough that it doesn’t weight down my pin board. The only thing I think it could improve on is having some kind of indicator when the battery gets low, because it just shuts off with no warning but it’s only happened once since I bought it, that’s how long the battery lasts. I use it to take product photos too and it’s just perfect

Great companion light – I love this light! It’s clipped to a box on the book shelf next to my reading chair. It’s not unusual for us to experience power outages (especially in the winter), so it’s wonderful to have a light nearby. So far I’ve only used it for brief periods and haven’t yet needed to recharge the battery. (When it’s time, I have a USB adapter that will plug into a nearby surge-protected power strip.)

What is nice is that it is cordless, pretty bendable and it will clip on to other objects if they are close enough to your reading area. It will even clip onto your book but it’s kinda a pain when you have to flip the pages and if you hit the touch on/touch off spot, you can shut it off by accident. Also, because it is a chargeable lamp, they don’t go as long as one would like between charging. That being said, the price was very reasonable and it does help me see better when I am reading so I am happy I did get it. I think it is just perfect as a quick & easy turn on/off bedside night light, simple enough for even a child to operate.
