Simple and bright! – I installed these (in a snap!) inside a pantry door on either side. I closed the door and they went out after 10 seconds. I opened the door and, depending on the amount of light outside the door, either they came on, or if darker, I waved my hand in front of them and they came right on. Nice and bright! lit up the whole pantry, even the top shelf! I’m getting more for Christmas presents. : )

Great but – Great but.. I feel like it’s chewing up battery life quickly as it’s not as bright after one week of use and 4 AAA batteries. I don’t regret buying I think they are great definitely worth the try. I think it’s better for places with less motion as I do have them placed in high traffic spots to medium to little to none. Medium and little motion areas are still bright compared to the the high traffic area.

I wish there was some way to just turn them on so they would stay on when I really need the extra lighting. Also, the motion is not always detected right away on the ones I placed under my counter because of the very slight indent in the design of my cabinets. They will not turn on unless I am actually up close to the counter/cabinet which does not help when we need the light to actually shine when we walk into the kitchen. These would be more suited for a closet or inside a cabinet.

A game changer – I have a narrow, deep pantry that swallows the contents no matter what I do. Many motion sensor lights are too big for the space, but this works beautifully. They’re very bright, come on when door is opened, and change the whole pantry. I was worried that there would be too much light for them to work, but these actually work in a fair amount of light, and putting them on multiple shelves does not cause interference.Items are still hard to reach, but at least I can see them. My only criticism is that the door to the battery compartment is tricky to open, but once I figured it out, they were otherwise easy to install. I’ve ordered another set so I’ll have one on each shelf.
